I intended to include only material up through July 31, 1942, the last
day of recording before the musician's strike started on August 1, 1942,
but decided I had to include this one from 1945.
It is an unfortunately poor version of "No Name Jive".
The band sounds very tired and everybody fluffs - even Bobby Hackett.
This is from the only V-Disc session attended by Casa Loma and is the
only selection issued from that session. Perhaps the other selections
were unissued because the band wasn't playing well. Other V-Discs
by them were taken from regular World transcription recordings.

V-Disc 500A - Recorded May 16, 1945 (mx VP 1362)
